En marge du colloque de l’International Society for the Study of Argumentation est organisée à l’Université d’Amsterdam une summer school sur le thème « Argumentation in Context« , du 25 au 29 juin 2018.

The International Learned Institute for Argumentation StudiesAmsterdam organizes in the week preceding the 9th ISSA Conference the Summer School on Argumentation in Context 2018. The program focuses on the analysis and evaluation of argumentation in activity types from various domains, including the political, the medical, the legal and the academic domain. The Summer School will be taught by the members of the Argumentation and Rhetoric Group Amsterdam (http://www.argumentation.nl/): Frans van Eemeren, Corina Andone, Bart Garssen, Eveline Feteris, José Plug, Francisca Snoeck Henkemans, Assimakis Tseronis and Jean Wagemans.
The Summer School on Argumentation in Context 2018 will be held from Monday, June 25 to Friday, June 29. Participation is open to all international PhD students specializing in argumentation or having a strong interest in argumentation. The participation fee, which includes lunches and receptions, is € 200. Because no more than 20 PhD students can be admitted to the course, interested students are advised to register as soon as possible, but no later than April 1, 2018. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
